Carol Jean Schmidt Crowned Miss Central Texas Electric Coop

Carol Jean Schmidt 19 of Fredericksburg was named Miss Central Texas Electric Cooperative after the pageant in City Hall. A UT Austin Med Tech major and 1965 St Marys graduate, she will tour Llano Mason Stonewall Harper and Fredericksburg and later compete in Miss Texas Electric in Houston.

Blanco Hereford Tour Set Across Blanco County Farms

The Blanco County Hereford Breeders Association schedules a two day tour on June 2 and 3 visiting ranches from Sawyer Hereford Ranch to Clyde Johnson and Sons Ranch. Participants meet June 2 at 1:30 pm at Sawyer Hereford Ranch and continue through Granite Hills Llano Barnett Marble Falls EF Ranch Round Mountain and LBS Ranch. On June 3 start at 8:00 am at Triple H Ranch Kerrville Fredericksburg then visit Fair Oaks Ranch Boerne Straits Medina Ranch San Antonio Cherry Creek Ranch Spring Branch and end at Bulverde. Johnson City secretary Patterson invites Hereford enthusiasts to attend.

Public X ray Clinic For Tuberculosis In Alamo Area

The Tuberculosis Association will bring a mobile unit to Fredericksburg June 2 6 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm and June 3 1 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm at the Little League Ball Park. A 50 cent donation is requested. The event is sponsored by the Gillespie County Tuberculosis Association.
