Mother's Day Breakfast Held By Sodalists

The regular Sodality meeting on May 1 had 16 members present. A Mother's Day breakfast followed services, with doughnuts and coffee donated by local families. Four hundred eleven Sodalists received communion with their mothers and prizes were awarded. Mrs Ernest Reed received the attendance prize.

Mrs Minter Recovers After Tonsil Removal

Mrs. Jack Minter underwent tonsil removal last week and is wished a speedy recovery by many friends. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Gipson of San Antonio visited here over the weekend with their daughter Mrs. A. L. Spellmann and family.
