Mrs. Harry Holland Sr. of Willow City spent the weekend with Mrs. Frank Thurmann. She at 80 visited Mrs. A. Baumann Saturday.
Mr and Mrs Fred Gammen Thaler visited their daughter Mrs Allen Fowler in San Antonio. The short trip marked a family reunion and included time with relatives in Texas.

Dr Eric M North of the American Bible Society says with Japan Bible Society they have distributed about 4 000 000 scriptures in four years. They plan 3 000 000 more in 1950 and 5 000 000 more in 1951. Reports from Japan say everyone reads the Bible even in remote fishing villages. Rogation Sunday observed May 14 1950 in Protestant churches for rural life and agriculture blessings.
