County agents urge Fredericksburg residents to attend the Water Rights meeting in the district courtroom on Monday June 16 at 2 p.m. Tim Brown and Bob Hensley of the Water Rights Commission will explain filing a claim and its implications for properties with running water. Organizers include the Gillespie County Bar Association and the Technical Action Panel of USDA. Funeral services were held for Klein Rites of Peoria with the infant son passing away. The service took place Friday at 2 p.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home Chapel and 2 15 p.m. at St Marys Catholic Church. Retired clergy from several orders attended, including Rev Aloysious A Gitter and 24 nuns of the Order of the Holy Ghost with Sister Geraldine among them. Interment followed at St Marys cemetery.
Rosary was recited in Schaetter Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 4. The body shipped to Kabena Funeral Home Hallettsville for services June 5 at 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Priests officiated by Rev. Charles Grahmann and others. Pallbearers included nephews B Eilers Marvin Janecek Bully Grafe Gene Grafe Jerome Grahmann and David Grafe.

June 7 Farren Scott Basse weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces born to Hans N Basse and wife with Frank Basse Sr and others. June 9 a son weighing 7 pounds born to Manuel Ramirez and wife. June 8 Kip Weinheimer weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces born to Roy E Weinheimer and wife with Brenda and siblings assisting. Grandparents and great grandparents listed for several families.
