Range Tour Planned Near Boerne With Soil District Meeting

The Kendall County Soil Conservation District hosts a range tour at Fair Oaks Ranch southeast of Boerne at 1 30 p m on Monday July 31 as part of the Hill Country Association meeting in Boerne. Supervisors from twelve districts are expected, with slides on range use and a service titled The Spirit of Survival by Rev George Mc Williams. The public may attend the tour or the programs.

Anniversary tribute honors Knudson couple in Texas gathering

Mr. and Mrs. George Hansen of San Antonio hosted their daughter and her husband Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Knudson and their Minnesota relatives at St. John's parish hall on a 15th wedding anniversary. Attendees from the area included John Strackbein and Edwin Strackbein, Clifford Wienecke, and Lonnie Mayhugh who is recovering from an eye ulcer after a San Antonio hospital stay. Lonnie plans to resume studies at Baylor University in the fall for his senior year.
