Ground troops urged to counter Communist Korea crisis
A contributed column argues that direct military intervention is inevitable to counter Communist aggression. It cites Leonard Bertsch on planned Soviet expansion and urges the UN to deploy substantial international ground forces, including Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, and the Philippines, to back General MacArthur. It warns the US must avoid shouldering sole responsibility and stresses UN leadership for world peace.
