Sheila Maner and Adelle Purse celebrated their 5th birthday together on December 1 at the Harper Community Center. The room was decorated with balloons and a large turkey with guests trying to pin a tail feather. About 40 guests attended the party. Mrs. Fred Gammenthaler visited Mrs. Fred Rahe on Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Fritzie of San Antonio visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Duderstadt for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Howe of Lampases spent the weekend with daughter Mrs. Donnie Bode and family. On Sunday all gathered for dinner at Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Bode with Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Fietcher joining.
The Hill Crest Singing at the Full Gospel Church in Fredericksburg drew a crowd including Mr and Mrs Richard Berschwate Mrs Floy Boethet Mrs Chester Moses Mr and Mrs Theo Oehler Mr and Mrs Rey Tierse wate Rev Tom py O'Lryent Mrs a Q Bryant and Mrs Winnie Parker indicating a community event attendance.
