Buck of the Woods Contest Inches Toward Standstill

Entries in the Bull of the Woods contest have dwindled to one buck. Michael Manning killed an 11 point buck on Saturday December 4 totaling 252 points with dressed weight 74 points spread 55 points height 1044 inches 41 points and base circumference 32 points. As of December 7 Billy Holmes and John Ferguson lead the yearly contest.

Harper Jr 4 H Club meets with holiday plans

The Harper 4 H Club met November 8 in the school Cafetorium. Duery Menzies presented trapping slides. A Christmas party is set for Monday December 13 after school. Games and refreshments are assigned to members. gifts by gender and a food can for a kit are requested. A Santa letters box is offered by the Young Homemakers with a December 15 deadline at the post office.

Christmas Program Announced at Harper School Cafetorium

The 1976 Christmas Program will be held in the Harper School Cafetorium on December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by the P.T.O. as a community service, the event features church representatives and school children through grade 6. Refreshments will be served and admission is free.
