The W M S gathered Tuesday at 8 o clock in Mrs Olive Parkers home. Mrs W C Russell opened with Send a Light and led prayers. Mrs Roy Roberts led a talk on American Indians. Hosts were Mrs Chas Barrett and Mrs Roy Roberts. Twelve members and visitor Mrs Keen attended. Next meeting is Sept 9 at the church.

Emil P Baumann died August 24 1947 in Victoria at age 59 1 3. Born July 21 1888 in Gillespie County he was a son of Frank and Rosa Jung Baumann. He married Elizabeth Gieve January 20 1934 in Corpus Christi. Surviving: widow, two brothers and four sisters. Interment in Catholic Cemetery Fredericksburg Tuesday.
