Amendments To Go On a State Ballot
The order eight constitutional amendments will appear on the November ballot was drawn by Secretary of State Paul Brown in Austin. The sequence lists HJ.R. Nos 30 2 13 7 35 proposing county workers insurance, a legislative restraint after censuses, division of community property to avoid inheritance tax, gubernatorial succession line, and preserving a $3000 homestead exemption while abolishing the state ad valorem tax.
