Texas Legislature Enacts New Traffic Laws For September 1
The Texas Legislature approves major traffic measures including implied consent for breath tests upon arrest for intoxication and a 12 month vehicle inspection cycle. Slower vehicles must stay right or near curb, new right of way rules at intersections, and updated following too closely standards. Inspection fee rises to 2 dollars and sticker location shifts to the left.
