Make It Yourself With Wool Contest Seeks Texas Girls

Texas girls aged 14 to 22 may enter the Make It Yourself With Wool home sewing contest organized by the Woman's Auxiliary of the Texas Sheep and Goat Raiser's Association. Contest rules cover three divisions coats suits dresses with virgin wool, judging on care, fabric choice, fit, and accessorizing. Entries require a 200 word rationale and itemized cost, with area style shows in nine towns across November and a San Angelo state show December 7. National prizes include two $400 scholarships and a $100 savings bond for top junior and senior garment winners.

Diamond jubilee marks Methodist entrance in Mexico City
