State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest Held At A and M
The state Boys 4-H Livestock Judging Contest returns after the war, set for August 16 at A and M College. Twenty eight teams from eight extension districts compete, each team with four boys judging 12 livestock classes. The top three teams meet the top three FFA teams, with two advancing to represent the state at the International Junior Livestock Judging Contest in Chicago next winter.

Methodist Church Notice on Services and Charity Drive
The Methodist Church led by Pastor Breshan announces Sunday services with mass times and a regular monthly Communion for the men and Holy Name Society.
