Soldier Wunderlich Dies From Wounds In Germany
Pfc Bruno Wunderlich 26 son of Otto and family of Wolf Creek Gillespie County died March 17 1915 in Germany from wounds in combat. He served in the Army Air Corps later Infantry, earned Good Conduct and Expert Infantryman decorations. He trained at several fields and served in France before death. Survived by parents four brothers and two sisters and many relatives. Captain Moore conveyed condolences and honor for his sacrifice. Missing in Action Governor Hails Late President
Pfo. Edwin E. Grienke, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Grienke, is reported missing in action in Germany by the U S Department. He has been in service since 1911, trained at Camp Roberts California, served at Burt Meade Maryland, and went overseas on June 12 1946 to France.
