Ellsworth College Lease Ends In Long Term Agreement

Dedication of Whitten Church Marks New Home for Congregation
Last Sunday the new Christian Church at Whitten was dedicated with J A Dillinger officiating. The old building burned in winter. Whate and Bon built the new structure. Services began with Sunday school, sermons by Th A Dillinger, and a noon basket dinner. Afternoon included a sermon by Rev Dillinger and evening service with youth programs. Music featured Mrs Etheridge and a Maig quartet. The building committee, led by George Mahice, prepared for a lasting church home. Pastor Troy H A Wingard has served Whitten and will continue guiding the congregation.
