Hospital Notes From New Providente And Hampton Area

Hospital notes report Mrs Marion Shore returning home to New Providence last Thursday. Pat Rudisill and wife welcomed a son, Richard Paul, born Thursday morning. Margaret Mary Priske was brought in for mutual care after birth. Dele Moon of New Providence is in hospital this week. Nora Strosnider of Hampton admitted for diagnosis and treatment. Mrs Bill Rash and baby Kathleen visited H O Andrews home. Flora Hoberts of Hampton had tonsils removed Monday morning.

Three Fires Hit Town This Week At State School Farm

Three fires occurred in the past week. At the State Training School on Friday a hog house blaze spread to a building, destroying a farmhouse contents and pigs with about 1000 dollars in loss. Sunday saw two fires: at the Lewlson farm 11 miles northwest a defective flue damaged the smokehouse and essential goods, while at the Ed Newell residence fire nearly gutted the roof and prompted immediate action. insured losses estimated around 8000 dollars.

White and Orwall Picked for All Western Interstate Teams
