Egg shell removal tip using half shell
When fragments fall into a bowl during egg breaking they cling to the shell piece. Lightly touching the stray fragments with a half egg shell makes them cling and easy to lift out.
Household tips and odd observations from a vintage column
Short notes advise adding mil to bluing water to prevent streaks and using charcoal in kettle to reduce odors from vegetables. Other remarks touch on vacation relief and the idea that singing may prolong life, with reflections on stubbornness when backing down from a worthy goal.
