D. A. Valentine of Union died Tuesday afternoon after five weeks of heart leakage. Born in Henry County March 18, 1875, he moved to Hardin County as a youth and married Caroline Middleton, later Deanie L. Koster. Survived by several children and a long-term Union resident, funeral at the Union Christian church Friday at 2:00 with burial in Union cemetery. W. A.
