Clay was seriously hurt with several broken ribs and bruises. the Clay car a Essex coupe was total wreck. The horse was killed. County Agent Paul Weichman was re elected for two years at 2000 per year.

Clever forger captured near Alden in county jail
A 19 year old described as a clever forger was captured after a forged check of 200 dollars tied to Parker, bought clothes and booze, and was traced from Webster City to Ft. Dodge. Police recovered 148 dollars and an altered suit case. He awaits court action in the county jail. The Eldora Community Club announces Dr. Cora Johnstone Best will lecture next April on the Kingdom of the Clouds after securing her from Washington.
