A fire destroyed a county home in a two hour blaze. Inmates were evacuated with five killed or injured. Officials vow rapid rebuilding and promised services will resume.
Miss Wilson reports generous book donations to the library from Fred Edgar, Nellie Turner, and Mrs Frank Lockwood and daughter. The clubs and Community Club use the library assembly room for meetings and music. Bruce Hays and Chester Kinney display a unique toy boat built from a book, powered by a battery.
