Miss Steinberg Elected County School Head Unanimously
Miss Steinberg was chosen as County Superintendent of Schools at a Tuesday election held by a convention of district presidents. Sixteen delegates attended. several roads prevented over a dozen more from ballot. Three County Educational Board members were selected: Morris to succeed Carter, Reed to succeed Bridgens, and Gilbert to succeed Nichols.

El dora Podge praised the event while several members added brief talks. Lunch was served. A sad death report: Mrs. Margaret Wilson shot herself Sunday on the Harry Megan place near Fayette. Her home was in Fayette. The body was brought to the Megan place for burial.
