Local families host serviceman’s surprise homecoming
New Providence AS and Willis Stowe returned Thursday on a 40 day leave to stay with parents Wilbur and unnamed Perry family. Stowe served three years with six months in Okinawa. Numerous relatives gathered in Tama Reinbeck Ackley Waterloo for visits. Franz Tammen in service. The Hadleys and Gaunts traveled to Thedford Neb on business. Jayne Marie visited grandparents in Radcliffe. Ray William, two months old, remained with family.

Mr Walton, recovering from a critical illness and major surgery, travels for the first time since his condition. He is not clear to resume work soon.
