Iowa Falls Woman Injured In 2 Car Crash
A young Iowa Falls woman, Mrs John Paul Muzzey 24, was kept overnight at Eldora Community Hospital after a two car collision on the Steamboat Rock Owasa blacktop with Mrs Joe Havens 30 of Steamboat Rock entering from a stop sign. Both cars were totaled per the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Eldora and Hardin County Retail Sales Rise in 1974 Quarter
Retail sales in Eldora and Hardin county jumped in the June 1974 quarter, rising from 1973 levels. The Iowa Department of Revenue reported Eldora taxable sales up to 3,402,752 from 2,557,722, a gain of 845,030, while Hardin county total rose to 18,206,698 from 14,465,531. Iowa Falls and other Hardin towns showed notable increases. Hardin residents accounted for 0.84 percent of state total retail sales tax for the quarter.

Three Union Men Credited With Saving Life
Dave Gunderson, Robert Gunderson, and Jerry Radner of Union are credited with saving Leo Connell of Conrad after he collapsed from a heart attack at Giannetta Inc. The trio started artificial respiration and heart massage, transporting Connell to Eldora Community Hospital where Dr. Rogers and nurses revived him. Connell remains hospitalized. The Gundersons previously aided a separate electrocution victim this year.
