M C A Highlights Hi Y and Tri Hi Y Officers Installed
A large turnout of youths and parents attended at Pine Lake Lodge for the installation of the 1952 53 Hi Y and Tri Hi Y officers. A potluck supper at 6 30 opened the evening, praised for the food and program. At 8 00 the groups held closing sessions with Donna Laglan and Dave Wilson presiding. George Fagg delivered a noteworthy devotional as Hi Y Chaplain. Gifts of appreciation were presented to volunteers.

Mrs Eastman Nuckolls and Beecher Crosley were presented as senior advisors. The program featured solos by Ross Elliott from Iowa Falls with Dixie Crosley, a speech by Rev J K Moore on A Christian Vocation, and booklets for upperclassmen. Appointments included Nancy Heslop and Bill Crandall as counsellor and Canteen chairmen, Jean Van Tiger and Jerry Hodgson as concession chairs. The ceremony ended with a candle light installation service.

Northwood Men Promoting Elthon
A Northwood businessmen group visited town Friday promoting Leo Elthon of Fertile Republican for lieutenant governor.
