Pleasant Chapel Cemetery Society meets for potluck and notes
The Pleasant Chapel Cemetery Society held their monthly potluck at the church with about thirty attending. Mrs. Merle Sayer and Mrs. Adolph Balvant hosted. Plans included hiring Deane Glen as caretaker for the season and ongoing needlework and rag rug projects. Various local residents are noted visiting, gifts given, and community events attended, including a potluck for Glen Morland’s sixteenth birthday and a baptism at the Friends Church in New Providence.
