Ward family in Iowa City for Kenny Warthopp surgery
The Wards and Kenny spent Monday through Saturday in Iowa City while Kenny underwent surgery. A large group of women attended the Cemetery Auxiliary meeting on June 4. Officers were installed with Mrs Mary Williams reelected president and Mrs Fred Ward vice-president. Mrs Jim Lee elected secretary-treasurer. Numerous local residents visited, hosted, or attended church and school events across nearby towns, including Edgewood receptions and East Friesland church programs.
Social visits fill the week in Eldon Range area
Evergreen Sherman and others visited in the homes of Eller and related families while Rev. Tabor moved to Davenport to serve as pastor. Nearby gatherings included dinners, birthday observances, and church fellowship. Attendees included Luhman, Hockman, Bauge, and Davis families from Ames Des Moines Colorado Springs and Eldora with several local residents.
