Mrs Floyd Beasley hosts family night at Lawn Hill church with about 40 attendees including Don LaVelle and Mrs Wendell Sayer. Funeral services for Mrs Ed Radolph in Eldora were attended by Mr and Mrs Gene Eagan with burial at Roughwoods cemetery. Various local visits, 4-H club activities, and neighborly calls recur through the weekend among Beasley, Hutchens, Sayer, Eagan, Blair, Crosser, and other area residents.

Waterloo resident Bobby Huffman spent two weeks with his aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs Dean Folberts. Cathryn Cramer returned home from a 10 day Colorado sightseeing trip. Charles Luiken family returned from a five day fishing trip to Fairmont Minnesota. Hospital visits included Jake Cramer at University Hospital Iowa City.
