Providence Family Gatherings and New Year Reflections
New Year's visitors and extended family gatherings fill Providence area scenes. The Hadleys, Johnsons, Wilsons, McCowns, Chance and Marsh clans share meals and stayovers from Grinnell to Nevada and Archer Nebraska while Duane Chamness visits from Hammond. The New Providence community also prepares for Money Creek Quarterly Meeting with ministers, youth activities, and services led by Rev. Kenneth Hickenberger with speakers from William Penn college. Paul Strayer travels via Ames and Dallas during holidays, and funeral rites honor Mrs. Piper with a Boone message recorded for posterity.
