Spring Market Show Urges Entries by March 2 At Iowa Falls
Hardin County announces the first Spring Market Show at the FFA building in Iowa Falls on March 4. Entry blanks for junior and adult divisions are available at the county extension office Eldora and from vocational agriculture departments and the Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce. Cash prizes and trophies are offered for individuals and pens of three, with grand and reserve champion in each division. Animals must be in place by 8 a.m. show day, and judging begins at 10 a.m. A sale will follow, with hogs graded for pricing and premiums paid for animals medium or better.
