Eldora Churches Rally for Key 73 Door-to-Door Outreach
Eldora area churches unite for March 4 door to door campaign as part of the national Key 73 program. Lay volunteers from Assembly of God, Disciples, Congregational, St Paul Lutheran, St Marys Catholic, and United Methodist churches will distribute Bible portions and a mimeographed listing of services while inviting families to attend a local church. Surrounding towns Iowa Falls Hubbard Ivester Grundy Center also receive literature.

Harold Steinfeldt of Eldora seeks to dissolve a contracting partnership with Walter Steinfeldt of Steamboat Rock in Hardin County District Court. Accidents Reported By Hardirs County Sheriff Office
The Hardirs County Sheriff Office reported several accidents and two break ins this week. Susan Ankrum and Cathy Stalker, both 16, suffered bruises in a two car mishap in Radcliffe on Saturday at 9 10 p.m. Randy Skele 16 of Radcliffe drove and Weig Kenneth Vincent 26 of Hubbard assaulted him as the car turned. Another collision near Garden City involved Terry Bachman 16 and Kevin Filbeck 16 with $600 total damage. Aris Sklavenitis 22 of Council Bluffs totaled a 1970 Cadillac after losing control on Highway 65. Donald Dubberke 32 of Eldora was cited for driving while license suspended after a two vehicle mishap on Maple Street. Earl Graham 27 of Eldora escaped with bruises in a separate crash.

The First Baptist Church of Steamboat Rock announces its annual supper on Friday. The program begins around 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
