Easter Breakfast At Community Church
About fifty people attended the Easter breakfast at the Community Church with cross shaped tables, Easter lilies and pink candles. Decorations and serving teams were led by a committee including Mrs. Rash, Mrs. Radner, Mrs. Giannetto, Louise Packer, and kitchen in charge by Mrs. Beecher, Mrs. Cummins, Mrs. Davis Brown and Mrs. Tom Glenn. Hymns were sung, readings and prayers offered by several members, and a mandolin solo and vocal hymns accompanied by the Beechers and Kathryn Packer. Morning and evening offerings totaled $373.00. Numerous relatives and neighbors from Union and nearby towns visited and shared Easter gatherings.
