Mr. and Mrs. Joe Katzer and Mr. and Mrs. Oren Short dined with neighbors and attended the Union senior high school play. Prof. and Mrs. Harold Krough were guests in Marshalltown area. many neighbors visited and hosted dinners. The Union high school freshman class enjoyed a theater party. numerous families shared meals and greetings across Webster City, Marshalltown, Toledo, Radcliffe and nearby towns. A birthday party honored Bernice Wood, with friends gathering for refreshments before Leonard Pierce’s events.

Whitten Misa Beverly Filck Whitten Misa Beverly Filck Last Thursday at 5 30 the Youth Fellowship served a pancake supper in the basement of the Christian church. The Youth Fellowship made 20. The Winners Class will meet Wednesday evening April 17 at the church. Visitors Sunday were Mr and Mrs Ernest Weatherly and family of Albion. The Union Whitten high school small music groups will attend the music contest at Cole Friday and Saturday. Sunday a birthday dinner honored Mr Hellmich at his home with Mr and Mrs Keith Shirt and others from Des Moines Conrad and Melntire. Guests included Mr and Mrs Shirt from Des Moines. Frank Arnold, patient at Evangelical hospital, is improving. Weekend visitors in the Yordy home were Mr and Mrs Harold Willits from Minneapolis. Weekend visitors to Mrs Alice Mable included Thelma Mabie and Leone Mabie from Des Moines. Friday callers in the Henry Koch home were F E Shine and Helen. Sunday visitors of Mr and Mrs Harold Moore were Ennis Koch and Don Adams from Melntire and Anneus Koch of Conrad. Friday evening April 5 the Union Whitten senior class play The Divine Flora was presented in the high school gym. Large attendance. seniors netted 100 for Chicago trip. A strike party followed. Youth Fellowship will meet Sunday at 7 pm at the Church of Christ with Patty Bailey, Delores Bottema in charge of devotion and others presenting recreation and refreshments. Afternoon guests in the Koch home were Mr and Mrs Edgar Wiesman and others.
