The Alethean Club Chartered at Hanover College Library

The Alethean Club held its first meeting at the Hanover College Library and adopted a constitution. Charter members include professors Oldfather Millis Souter Lawrence Woodworth Beck Huber Hawk Rider Culbertson Montgomery Alexander LaBach and Rev. J. 8S. Hawk.

Hanover and Earlham Fight Hard in Scrappy Match

An early football clash ends with Earlham leading Hanover 15 to 6 as F James returns, Hufford intercepts, and Mills drops a field goal. The program committee includes Prof Oldfather and Prof Souter with Prof Lawrence. Beck visits Europe and speaks at the next meeting.

Hanover Teachers Meet at Indianapolis Alumni Plan

Hanover alumni officers work on informal luncheon and reunion plans during the State Teachers Association meeting in Indianapolis October 28 29 and 30. A fuller time and place announcement will follow after an early Indianapolis gathering. Mildred Tibbets 18 hosted her Phi Mu sisters in Madison Tuesday.

Hanover College Orchestra Adopts Constitution and Elects Officers

The Hanover College Orchestra organized on October 14 through the election of officers: President B. P. Leeds, Vice President Wm. C. Culley, Secretary-Treasurer Gladys Vestile, Librarian Paul Terhune. A formation committee of W. Herbert Gibbs, Elmer S. Allison, and Gladys Vestile drafted the constitution, signed by C. E. Broddecker, W. C. Culley, Elmer S. Allison, W. Herbert Gibbs, William Hatfield, Gladys Vestile, B. P. Leeds, Paul Terhune, D. C. Cox, G. Mount, J. W. Riley, Allan Montgomery, Ida Norris.

Missionary Moffett Wed in Seoul Nuptials

Dr. Samuel A. Moffett and Miss Lucia Fish of Seoul Korea married at the bride’s sister home on the thirtieth of last June. They will reside in Pyong Yang Korea where Moffett serves as a Presbyterian Church missionary.
