Earlham defeated Hanover 34 to 7 on Reid Field last Saturday in the season finale. Earlham started strong with a touchdown by Allison after three minutes, and added a second quarter score as Trotter kicked goal. Hanover fought back but stalled near the goal line and miscues kept them from closing the gap.

The blind pianist Edward Baxter Perry presented a program featuring mediaeval legend inspired pieces by Chopin Wagner and Liszt with works by Schubert Godard Saint Saens and Brassin. Frankfort teams defeated by a 39 to 0 score. The Han over Oratorical Association election took place Monday November 16. Two nominees ran for each office and votes were close. President Wells 47 Miles 44. Vice President Radcliffe 47 Roberts 43. Secretary-Treasurer Gaddy 48 Tevis 42. Delegate Montgomery 46 Johnson 46. A second election gave Montgomery 56 to Johnson 38. Montgomery will represent Indiana Oratorical Association at the Inter-State meeting, location undecided.
