The Merry-Go-Round Man a one act allegory by Senior David Ward will premiere next Monday during assembly on the Hanover stage directed by Denise Spreitzer a junior in Dr Joseph Witheys Theater Direction Class Readers see the motion driven fantasy as two forces in conflict with Seram urging speed until the carousel is destroyed The play aims for fantastic realism with a constantly moving canopy and moving center pole It will be repeated Dec 9 with Overtones Cast features Jim Putnam as Seram John Joerse as the Merry-Go-Round Man and others in supporting roles

Hanover Arts Exhibit and Concert At Parker Auditorium
At 3:30 Sunday Hanover College presents a concert recital by William Hopkins with piano works by Schubert Beethoven Liszt Ravel and Schumann. Paintings by Tom Gordon and Jack Whitlock will be on display in the entrance hall during viewing and intermission. Hopkins teaches at Hanover and holds degrees from Northwestern and Kansas. Gordon and Whitlock are Hanover art faculty with backgrounds at Ohio University Ball State and other institutions.

Acclaimed Matthew concert features Schumann and Faure works
The Community Artists Series presented Paul Matthew and Walter Robert of the Indiana University faculty in a mixed program.
