Next Assembly Brings Swiss Alps To HG
Dr. Joseph R. Weitz, geology professor at Colorado State University, will present “A Geological Postman's Holiday in the Alps” at the next assembly on Monday. Weitz, a former Hanover College faculty member, toured Switzerland with twenty five geologists during a National Science Foundation funded meeting in 1962. He earned degrees from Wesleyan and Yale and has taught at Yale Wilkes and Hanover before joining Colorado State in 1960.

Meeting Planned For Mental Health Program
A Hanover College campus meeting at Classic 102 on Thursday at 7 30 p m invites students to learn about a new mental health unit. The Indiana Association for Mental Health backs campus outreach to create a volunteer program at Madison State Hospital six miles away and promote counseling services on campus for students facing emotional problems.
