First S H Talk Set For Monday
Dr Kenneth Thompson will deliver the first in a four lecture series on Power Politics in a Nuclear Age titled International Politics and Its Practice. The lectureship is funded by Sperry and Hutchinson Company. Thompson co edits Conflict and Cooperation Among Nations and has taught at Chicago and Northwestern. He will speak at 8:00 in Long Gym Ballroom, followed by a Q A. An informal coffee hour with Thompson is planned at 3:00 in the Administration Building.

The Young Democrats of Hanover College, oldest campus club, met November 6 1963 at 3 30 p m in Classic 203 to receive its charter awarded at the October 19 State Convention. Proxy issues were resolved by Hanover graduate Jerry Shad dey. Officers elected: Mark Zirzow president, Tom Galloway vice president, Judy Beneville secretary treasurer. An organizational meeting is set for November 14 1963 at 7 p m in Classic 102.

Phi Eta Sigma is a national scholastic honorary for freshmen with a 3.5 GPA.

Dad's Day Draws 600 at Hanover event
About 600 dads moms and children attended Hanover's annual Dad's Day on Saturday November 2 with 400 parents at a morning coffee hosted by President Horner. Dutch Struck spoke on physical education.
