Hanover Wins I. C. A. L. Tennis Championship

Hanover defeats rivals in Terre Haute over May 12 and 13 to claim the I. C. A. L. tennis title. Wabash, Rose Poly, State Normal, Butler, Farlham, and Hanover competed with Hanover winning doubles and overcoming Wente in singles. Thomas H. Innis, ex-12, was in Hanover briefly.

Hanover Wins Dual Tennis Meet at Butler

Hanover students Manaugh Montgomery and Woods defeated Butler’s players in a two love doubles sweep and strong singles showing. In singles action Manaugh beat Kramer 6-4 6-0, Montgomery defeated Woods 6-1 6-0, while doubles partners Manaugh Montgomery claimed 6-0 6-0 and 6-4 6-3 scores against their Butler opponents.

Commencement speakers announced for Hanover College

A strong lineup of speakers is set for Hanover College events. Pres. W. A. Millis will deliver the Baccalaureate sermon on The Gospel of Jesus. Rev. Geo. E. Sehlbrede of New York City will address Y M C A audiences. Alumni Banquet speakers include James Almond Hayden R. Upton and others. A class day program features Gwladys Roberts and Helen Culbertson as leaders. An exhibition by Harry Vance Swope opens at Shields High School with ties to Seymour Art League.

New 1915 16 Catalogue Out Hanover College Bulletin

The 1915 16 catalogue No 1 Volume 9 of the Hanover College Bulletin arrived with several hundred copies distributed among students and mailed in response to demand. It lists a 304 net enrollment for April 1915 to April 1916 and features major revisions including updated history, building descriptions, new majors and two year pre medical and pre engineering tracks.
