Plans for Field Day and Interfraternity Sports
On Monday June 12 the annual Field day will be held after the Inter-fraternity Tennis Tourney in the morning and afternoon. The Inter-class Track Meet starts at ten o’clock Monday morning. The Faculty Base Ball Team meets the Varsity at 3:30 with Coach Rider pitching for the faculty and Buddy James for the Blue and Red. The Girls Tennis Tourney opened with Ada Colgate defeating Jessie Brown 7-5 6-4 and entrants include Colgate Brown Kehoe Ward Cunningham Britain. a round robin will crown the winner who receives the silver cup, a title Miss Colgate won last year.

Seniors in Cap and Gown Hold Dignified Class Day Chapel
In a Thursday morning Chapel, Hanover seniors appeared in cap and gown for Class Day exercises. The program skipped humorous pieces, featured a reading by Irvin Brashear, a prayer by A L Miyatovitch, and a male quartet performance of Lead Kindly Light. Dr Millis offered remarks on the class history and future prospects, and the service closed with the class song to Alpha Oe.

Memorial Day Services in Hanover Honor Veterans
Memorial Day observances in Hanover featured a Presbyterian Church service led by Dr. Turner of Madison and introduced by President Millis. The service honored Union veterans with music from the Hanover Band and a procession to the cemetery led by Boy Scouts, followed by a local school principal election for Converse Indiana High School.

Faculty Picnic Ends With Fishmeal and Poolside Fun
Last Saturday the faculty group traveled by two trucks and two Fords to a creek spot for a picnic. Profs Young Alexander Culbertson and Lawrence caught large fish. a post feast baseball game involved the ladies. Dr Millis supervised swimmers as he sang a Persian hymn. Dr Oldfather staged a Diana bath demonstration while others were soaked on the return trip.

Examination Schedule Begins With Bible Test Weeklong
Exams start Sunday morning with the Bible exam and continue through Friday with morning tests for each hour and afternoon classes. Prof. T F Fitzgibbon, Columbus City Schools superintendent and Board of Trustees member, spoke at Chapel on meekness. Miss Delcie Shields, ex 17, is visiting Hanover.
