Pan-Hellenic Dance Finest Function Of Year
The Pan-Hellenic Dance by Phi Delta Pi and Phi Mu at Hanover was the year's finest event. The hall's patriotic decorations matched the festive mood as the Noddler and Benson Saxophone Orchestra opened with The Star-Spangled Banner. A grand march led by John Luckett, Jess Crutcher, Albert Clapp, and Esther Wray opened an eighteen dance program. Out-of-town guests surpassed previous years, with attendees from Hopewell, Rising Sun, Madison, New Washington, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Fowler, alongside local guests Prof. and Mrs. Montgomery and several Brown and King family members.

Death of G. S. Wyatt at 81 in Independence Kansas
Word has been received by President Millis of the death of G. S. Wyatt, 81, at his Independence home. Wyatt came to Hanover at 32 with wife and three children, graduated in 1881, returned to teaching, later farmed, and loved books. He leaves six children and his wife.

Gilbert At Lee Eldridge, the impersonator, charmed Hanover as he switch from Shylock to Antonio and a farmer to a self sufficient dame. His Riley tribute and war poem The Kid Has Gone to the Colors drew hearty laughter. His warm personality and natural delivery pleased the crowd.

Brett Smith and Culley delivered key hits as Hanover capitalized on Franklin errors and base running miscues though a late rally by Franklin kept it tight.
