All Campus Election Set For Thursday

Five hundred twenty students voted Monday March 27 in the primary. Only those voting in or registering at the primary election are eligible to vote in the final election. The amendments to the Student Senate constitution passed 480 to 40. The candidates for class officers will give speeches next Tuesday at class meetings. The freshman class will meet at 8:30 in Classic 102, sophomore class at 7:00 in Long Gym, and the junior class at

Enlarged Hanover College Art Guild Opens Informal Studio

Hanover College students may use art facilities for personal study in drawing painting graphics and sculpture with optional films and gallery visits. Meetings are Tue Thu 7 to 10 pm in Hendricks Hall no cost except supplies. Guild expands next year under Hanover Plan Review criteria offering independent concentration and yearlong participation. Elections and candidate slate announced for student government with polls April 6.

Panty Raid Shocks Hanover Students on Fraternity Row

A large Monday night incident in Hanover involved up to four hundred men shouting for townies and beer, moving through residence halls while officials urged restraint. Coeds reportedly offered undergarment trophies, drawing mixed reactions from students and a warning from Dean of Men Glen L. Bonnett about mob violence. No damage reported, some students questioned.

Sig Chi Wins Brain Bowl in Long Gym Final

Sigma Chi defeated Wiley four to claim the Brain Bowl championship with a 165 to 145 victory. Jim Freed, Mark Kendall, Bill Prudner, and Greg Weber starred for Sigma Chi, while Ron Bowman, Dick Davis, James Goble, and Jeff Nelson played for Wiley. Van Schenk commentated. Mark Keltner tallied the winning score. Linda Dills was timer.

Campus Center Board Seeks Members For Six Committees

Campus Center Board invites students to join six committees with six to ten seats each. Prospective members should contact committee chairmen before Wednesday. Canvos To Present Two Educators This Week

Canvos will host two educators this week for assemblies and chapel. The Right Reverend Monsignor John F. Murphy, president of Villa Madonna College and Covington Catholic education leader since 1953, will speak at Honors Day. Dr Edward Lueders, Hanover College alumnus and former professor, returns Thursday for Chapel after earning a doctorate at the University of New Mexico.

Marge Fox To Lead IRC

Marge Fox was elected president of Inter-Residence Council. She has served as secretary-treasurer this year and represents Alpha Omicron Pi in Student Senate. Other officers include Marty Sawyer as vice president, Debbie Fraley as program chair, and Bette Garratt as secretary-treasurer.
