Faculty Forum On Vietnam Draws Ten Instructors
A Hanover faculty forum on the Vietnam war is planned for Thursday at 7 30 p m in Long Ball room with ten professors signed to participate. Dr E Mowbray Tate will moderate the panel and up to fifteen instructors may take part. The event is organized by the Young Democrats as part of National Spring Mobilization to End the War in Vietnam week April 8 15.

Hanover College students elected Chip Hixson unopposed as Student Senate President. Freshman officers include Terry Baker and Rex Gentry, with Robin Rosenbaum and Jeff Blair as secretary and treasurer. Junior officers are Jeff Osborne and Dave Zimmerman, with Mary Burnham and Tom Duiser as secretary and treasurer. Danforth Lecturer Speaks on Shakespeare and Speaight
British author actor and lecturer Robert Speaight visits campus as a Danforth Visiting Lecturer. He speaks on Shakespeare in the Theatre Monday at 10 40 and gives a poetry recital Monday night at 8 30 in Classic 102. A Tuesday coffee hour offers informal talks in the Administration Building lower lounge. Speaight, Lincoln College Oxford history scholar, is an OBE and has written four novels three criticism books and five biographies. He created Hibbert in Journey's End and has staged Shakespearean works at the Old Vic.
