New SCA Officers Installed President Matthew Lead Year

John Matthew was installed as president of the Student Christian Association at the Y building on Sunday night. New officers include Susie Arend as vice president Carol Megorden secretary and Dave Ramage treasurer. Co advisers Mary Louise Fitton and Rev John N Fox oversaw the ceremony. Retiring president Bill Rogers spoke brief ly and special music was performed by Barbara Hosler Lois Little Ed Bockstiegel and Byron Haines.

Poet-Philosopher Dr Warmingham to Speak at Assembly

Dr Osbert W Warmingham associate director of the American Youth Foundation will deliver Wednesday's assembly address on Almsgiving from Within. Born in India he studied at Wisconsin Boston Oxford Carroll College and taught at Boston University. He is author of Singing Sands and Silver Sea and has long led AYF Christian Leadership Camps since 1918.

Assemblies Star One Act Play Hanover Chorus

Hanover students will see two college groups perform next week. The Hanover Players present The Moving Finger directed by Jackson Cravens with a large cast. The College Chorus, directed by Prof. Maxwell Poland, performs The Crucifixion by Sir John Stainer with soloists Prof. Frank Blanning and Byron Haines.

Dr. and Mrs. E. Mowbray Tate addressed the Cincinnati Alumni Club meeting attended by eighty people at Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church. Dr. Henry Carter Rogers pastor of the church served as general chairman of arrangements.

PEM Club Hosts Tomorrow Night Recreation Program

The PEM Club sponsors a campus recreation event tomorrow at Lynn Hall open to faculty and students. Games include badminton volleyball paddle tennis ping pong and card games in various rooms. gym active games run 7 30 to 11 00 with admission a pair of gym shoes.

Pan Linguists Donate Movie Proceeds To DP Fund

The Pan Linguist Club cleared about 35 dollars from the French movie The Queen's Neck lace presented last Friday night. Proceeds will be turned over to the Displaced Student Fund with about 285 attendees. A panel on vocational opportunities for language majors is planned for next Tuesday at the Phi Mu Lodge.
