Deluge Sinks Campus Facilities After Rain Attack

Heavy rain across a ten state region floods Lynn Hall first floor offices and lobby at Hanover. Water leaks from ceilings into the Soda Bowl, causing the stairwell ceiling to collapse. Business Manager Ralph Burress says roof throughs could not hold the water but exact repair costs and scope are not yet known.

Nets and Profits Faculty vs Students Basketball Fundraiser

The Campus Chest committee of the Student Senate sponsors a Wednesday 8:30 p.m. fundraiser in Lynn Hall featuring a Faculty versus Student Senate shooting contest to raise scholarships for foreign Hanover students. No admission, donations at the door. The Faculty team includes professors and intramural players. Student Senate’s crew is led by coach Lon Barash and captains, with Student Senate cheerleaders also present.
