Twice a Bride to feature Chinese instruments and opera
In Hanover a Friday and Saturday program presents Twice a Bride a traditional Chinese comic love story directed by John Jeorse with sixteen performers in elaborate costumes. Professor Hsi Cheng of the University of Iowa will bring instruments play wind and teach percussion during intermission and demonstrate Chinese opera singing. The opening piece The Day the New Director Came a propaganda play of Communist China precedes the main production at 8 15 in Parker auditorium.
