Training School for Librarians Moves to Hanover
The State Library Commission shifts the summer librarians training from Earlham to Hanover for six weeks starting early July. The program covers cataloging, classification, administration, acquisitions, binding, and more with special lectures on reading matter for children. A two week rural work institute under the Presbyterian Home Mission Board will run concurrently, with Victor Wilson ex ’15 of Indiana University joining Hanover at winter term start.

College Point House ready for occupancy at Hanover
A new three story brick boarding hall named College Point House on the college point between Pros Fisher and Prof Morse will be ready by November. It features a basement dining area, 26 rooms, coal elevator, fire escape, cisterns and a spring, with cost around 7000 dollars and over 6000 subscribed. The Barr fund drive has boosted local support and Southern Indiana and Kentucky sentiment for Hanover College.

In a hard fought game Hanover fell to Earlham 30 to 14 on Saturday night. Hanover led 10 to 9 at halftime as Kehoe Voris and Rowe scored, but Earlham surged in the second half, adding 21 points while Hanover managed only four. Wolf led Earlham with four goals and four fouls, while Kemper and Rowe added several baskets.
