Varsity Shows Up in Practice Win Over Moorefield
In a Saturday practice game at home the Hanover Blue and Reds defeated Moorefield High School 72 to 8. Hanover dominated the second half with 25 unanswered baskets while Moorefield scored only early, fouling less but committing seven infractions to Hanover’s three. This win closes Coach Hotchkiss’s tenure at Hanover as the team displays speed and smart play. A curtain raiser featured Kent High School, beaten by Hanover 22 to 6.
