Hanover to Host First Ever Track Meet and Tennis Tourney

Hanover will hold its first track and field meet on Tuesday May 4 with the I C A L tennis tournament slated for the same day in Indianapolis. Butler was admitted to I C A L membership, eight colleges now joined, with changes to by laws including barring prep students and dropping the homer throw. Professor Oldfather and Coach Thurber chaired the meeting in Franklin and Hanover.

Change in Requirements for Sigma Delta Psi

The Sigma Delta Psi committee on certification approved senior requirement changes including track and field standards such as 220 yard low hurdles in 31 seconds and a long jump of 17 feet. The fraternity now lists chapters at Indiana University University of Minnesota Hanover College Wabash College Butler College University of Maine Whitman College University of Utah DePauw University Lombard College University of Colorado Colorado College University of Texas North Dakota Agricultural College State University of Kentucky Hanover was the third school to receive a chapter.

Moores Hill Plans $100000 Endowment Campaign

Moores Hill outlines a plan to launch a $100000 endowment drive due to rising college expenses. Belgium relief fund totals 70 dollars reported in chapel

Professor Woodworth as chair man of the Belgium relief fund committee gave his report Tuesday morning. The total amount raised was 370.62. The money is to be placed in the hands of the American Red Cross Society for their work in that country. Much credit is to be given to the students who had charge of the soliciting and collection for the fund in the four classes: G. R. Hamptony'15, Fern Brittan 16, Euclid Gaddys'17 and Mildred Archer '18.
