Hanover hosts Charlestown Independents in the first basketball game of the season on the home floor at 8 15 p m The exhibition features a picked visiting squad of former high school and college stars A large enthusiastic crowd is expected with strong attendance at recent inter class games Also Hanover plays Saluda High at 7 00 p m and a circus event at the grade school drew student interest.

State Oratorical Association Plans For Contest
The Indiana Oratorical Association met in Indianapolis to discuss moving the state contest among member colleges to reduce costs. Proposals to hold events at each school were rejected. the Feb contest will stay in Indianapolis, likely at a church, with several cost cuts and a 7:30 start.
