Huskies Baseball Schedule Set Under Manager Culley
Manager William C Culley has outlined the 1916 Huskies baseball schedule with two trips planned to Illinois and Kentucky. The Kentucky trip will include Transylvania Georgetown and Kentucky State with opening home game April 15 and five to six home games. Overall 12 to 15 games are expected, facing Rose Poly State Normal DePauw Earlham Butler Franklin and Wilmington Ohio. Prospects look bright with more material than in past years and Culley expects strong team performance.

Girls Glee Club Plans Weekend Concert Trips
The Girls Glee Club and the men’s club seek to tour next term with weekend trips to southern Indiana and northern Kentucky towns. Already three invitations have been received, two from Indiana towns and one from Kentucky. Miss Alma McDonnel will accompany, with solos by Miss Ada Colgate and Miss Nora Bucknell as planned.

The Freshman team from this school lost 30 to 21 at Charlestown after leading 14 to 13 at halftime. Charlestown outscored the visitors 17 to 7 in the second half.

Reverend Graham Dies campaign for memorial fund recalled
Rev. H. T. Graham of Franklin born in 1898 preached at the Presbyterian Church in Seymour and led a drive to start the Blish Thompson Memorial Fund. He was entertained at the home of C. D. Billings, a former classmate.
